French toast was photographed for a cookbook by Twin Cities Food Photographer Barbara Wrigley McDevitt. Brioche was dipped in egg batter with cinnamon and nutmeg and then fried in melted butter. The toast was positioned on a vintage white plate with strawberries and blueberries sprinkled with powdered sugar. Maple syrup was poured over the French toast. Orange juice was placed in the background and two forks added to simulate a plate for two.
