The ingredients for tomato basil garlic sauce was photographed for a spaghetti and meatball dinner served at a local restaurant. The tomato sauce is prepared with ripe tomatoes, several cloves of garlic and freshly cut basil. The tomatoes are put in a blender and pulverized to a smooth creamy consistency. Several cloves of garlic is finely minced and added to the blender. The sauce is then put on the stovetop and simmered for several hours until the acidity of the tomatoes turns sweet. Basil may be added to the sauce or used as a garnish.
