Italian Salami

Italian Salami

This sliced Italian salami is ready to be eaten. Just grab a slice and consume. Italian salami is a cured sausage consisting of fermented and air-dried meat, typically pork. Historically, salami was popular among Southern, Eastern, and Central European peasants because it can be stored at room temperature for up to 40 days once cut. Italian salami can be enjoyed with a glass of Barolo, Italian cheese such as Fontina or Parmesan, and olives.
