Homemade Bread and Eggs

Brown eggs and sliced bread were photographed as part of a project to show the ingredients that go into preparing a dish of Shakshuka.  The bread was subsequently toasted and the eggs were poached in crushed tomatoes with basil, salt, red pepper and parsley.  After poaching, an egg with the crushed tomato sauce was served on the toasted bread.
